# Cisco Jabber - Outlook Fix

Download these files to your computer. DO NOT RUN THEM. PC Jabber: [https://downloads.calltower.com/Down...abberSetup.msi](https://downloads.calltower.com/Downloads/jabber/CiscoJabberSetup.msi) PC MSI: [https://downloads.calltower.com/Down...1-1-0-7960.msi](https://downloads.calltower.com/Downloads/jabber/msi_setup-4-1-1-0-7960.msi)

1. Locate the folder with the downloaded files above
2. Hold Shift then Right Click from this folder

4. Select “Open Command Window here”
5. Copy the following: msiexec.exe CLEAR=1 /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLICK2X=DISABLE
6. Right click in the Command Window and select paste

1. Follow the install instructions.
  1. DO NOT LAUNCH CISCO JABBER YET
  2. REPEAT STEPS 1-6 (You do not need to download the links again).
  3. Now Launch Jabber
  4. Once the install is complete run regedit

1. Under HKEY_CURRENT_USER navigate to the following: Software>IM Providers.
2. Check and make sure DefaultIMApp is Lync. If it says [Cisco](http://info.calltower.com/schedule-your-cisco-demo) Jabber, double click DefaultIMApp and set data field to Lync
