# MS Teams - Send a File or Picture

## Desktop:

To attach a file or picture in a channel, click **Choose file** ![Choose file button](https://cdn.us.document360.io/4662144b-ab1f-4796-8b7b-e9f9c609894f/Images/Documentation/8670552a-605c-4e26-aca1-cec619e42484.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T22%3A01%3A31Z&se=2026-11-04T23%3A01%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Cy%2FzU28LhnOYAseeJZJdr7TaRvDsvJ6XRhi1Kf8mRHU%3D) beneath your compose box. Then you can upload an file or picture from your computer or OneDrive, or search for one from the **Files** tab for that channel.

### Send a picture

### Send a file

From a chat or meeting, tap the attachment to open it with an Office 365 app. In a channel conversation, tap the attachment or go to **Tabs** > **Files**.
