# MS Teams - Send an Emoji - GIF - Memes or Sticker

## Send an emoji:

### Desktop:

Emoji are a great way to add some fun into your communication! To send an emoji in a message, click **Emoji**![Emoji icon](https://cdn.us.document360.io/4662144b-ab1f-4796-8b7b-e9f9c609894f/Images/Documentation/ac84b839-6a22-45aa-a3d4-af0a9bb4e78e.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T22%3A55%3A59Z&se=2026-11-04T23%3A55%3A59Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=BkccYC9INqF67oEnp7567qYv8lhrzd4MR1EKgjKBsaI%3D) beneath your compose box. From the emoji gallery, select the emoji you want or do a keyword search at the top of the gallery to find something specific. Use the search bar at the top of the window to look for something specific (like "cats playing piano") or browse the collection of popular GIFs.

## Send a meme or sticker:

### Desktop:

If you click **Popular**, you'll see a collection of the most commonly used memes and stickers. **Memes** shows you the entire meme library, or you can browse different categories of stickers. #### Search for a meme or sticker

Once you're inside the memes and stickers collection, click Popular. From there, you can enter a search term (like "Grumpy Cat" or "office") into the box at the top to find memes and stickers matching that description.

#### Customize a meme or sticker

Click **Sticker** ![Sticker button](https://cdn.us.document360.io/4662144b-ab1f-4796-8b7b-e9f9c609894f/Images/Documentation/bb9ecee8-6e42-490b-bd6b-3c94ada72893.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-04T22%3A55%3A59Z&se=2026-11-04T23%3A55%3A59Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=BkccYC9INqF67oEnp7567qYv8lhrzd4MR1EKgjKBsaI%3D) beneath your compose box and pick the meme or sticker you want. Type the text you want into the caption boxes and click **Done**.
