ATA - Factory Reset 186/188

Goal

The purpose of this article is to provide step by step instructions on how to factory reset a Cisco ATA 186 or Cisco ATA 188.

MAKE SURE THAT ATA IS POWERED ON AND NOT PLUGGED INTO NETWORK

Step 1

Using an analog phone with full keypad (Unhooked) plugged into the "Phone 1" port. Press the function button on the top of the ATA.
