Teams Phone Sign in Error “Device Administrator is disabled. Contact your Admin”
Goal:
Assist Customers and Technicians who encounter the above error when trying to sign into an Android Teams Certified Device.
Cause:
The above error is shown when the Android Device Administrator is turned off in Microsoft Intune.
Resolution:
This will need to be corrected by signing into intune.microsoft.com > Devices > Android > Android Enrollment > Android device administrator > Prerequisites > Personal and corporate-owned devices with device administrator privileges > Use device administrator to manage devices. By enabling this feature, you grant Microsoft permission to send both user and device information to Google, which must be checked.
